Finally, a winter wonderland ...

It hasn't been much of a winter so far here in Northern Virginia/D.C. In fact, it's been one of the warmest on record. But winter showed up today with some snow, sleet and freezing rain. Now it's actually changing to all rain. But it is pretty.

It still kills me that they cancelled most of the schools in this area today because of this little inconvenience. It hadn't even started yet and the panic had already begun.

Good thing I got to the store yesterday in time to pick up all the milk, bread and toilet paper I could find.
